The big event this week was the Past Captains Invitational Day, 66 Ladies on Saturday and 114 men on Sunday, an incredibly large field on both days.
We also had the Past Captains golf & social on Wednesday organised by Diane Harmer as she won our June event. The winner this time was Paul Holliday with 35 points.
This is a great way for all the past Captains to get together and discuss the club with the present Captains. Our main goal is always the members who we represent.
Most of you have noticed that Svetlana has not been around for couple of weeks. She has had a nasty virus. She is on the road to recovery, and we look forward to seeing her back shortly.

We all sat down with our guests to a delicious lunch prepared by Mirko followed by prize giving and a raffle. Many thanks to Alicia who during the day sold so many tickets to the ladies for the various green fees kindly donated – San Roque Club Old and New, Real Sevilla, Sherry Golf, that we raised 1,220 euros for our Charities. The men on Sunday held an auction which amazingly raised 2,625 euros!!!
The 8 past captains helped me give out the prizes and raffle.
