A relatively quiet week at the San Roque, even though we have a full course due to many members being here and many green fees. As I have said this is the best time of year for golf. The course seems to be holding up well but please do remember to fill in your divots and pitch marks like the good children, we members are!!
Long awaited rain has arrived causing a tree to fall on the 17th hole. Thanks Svetlana for the photo. The ground staff already on the case, tractor and all.
At the end of this week, I have been glued to the many weather app’s there are and I arrived at the conclusion that none of them have clue!!! Much to everyone’s delight the weather was perfect on Sunday for the annual Raider Cup. Results will be revealed later but it was a tightly fought contest as always. The score board proved very useful again with Fatima manning it for us, many thanks Fatima for all your help.
