Well, the rain did continue for most of the week. We managed to play on Tuesday but by Thursday the heavens opened up – so plan B came into action. Luckily as you will see we had a miracle over the weekend and both DC Memorial and St Patrick’s Day went ahead – around 70 players both days. DC may have intervened with the weather Gods.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
Our team Captain Agi Savitz has been busy rescheduling the postponed Interclubs. Sotogrande away will now be played on the 26th May and Aloha away is now Monday 30th June . I know she will try and keep the same team but please support her as I know different ladies might be around at this time of year.
Borja continues to prioritize course cleanup. Weather permitting, they will fertilize the greens and treat the grass for poa. It has not stopped raining today – unbelievable the reservoirs must be full now !!
COMPETITIONS OF THE WEEK
Tuesday 11th March 6 ladies Non federated friendly Competition Teams of 3

We managed to play 18 holes without any rain. It was so good to be out. The course was remarkably playable. The ground staff have done a great job. A new addition to the course are sandbags, which are placed strategically to protect the course – a good temporary measure.
