What a surprise the rain has arrived again just in time for the busy weekend of Champion of Champions and the Match play finals.
On Friday, the club held it’s first Masters Open competition with 62 players. Congratulations to our lady member Pascale Pannier for winning the green jacket with an excellent +1 – Eddie Polland gave out the prizes of 12 green fee vouchers and a stay in the Royal Suite.
The idea is to make this an annual event at the San Roque Club, the attention to detail from the team was amazing.

Welcome back to Tracey, Helen and Sally who are all here for the Easter festivities. The course was tricky due to wind conditions and the greens were incredibly fast. This did not affect Janine who continues her excellent run of good golf.

Sunday 13th April MATCHPLAY FINALS
Svetlana has had an incredibly busy week having qualified for every final this year. She played the singles Vs Pascale Pannier on Tuesday, the mixed with Joachim vs Tony & Mandy Holt on Thursday and then
the Ladies Pairs with Sharon Andersson on Sunday.
This is an amazing achievement. All those hours of practice have paid off.

FLOWER ARRANGING
On Friday in the Eddie Polland room, Anne Middlehurst gave another of her masterclasses in flower arranging. We enjoyed the class and yet again there is a lot of talent to be found in the San Roque Ladies section. We left with wonderful Easter Baskets.
AND FINALLY, WELL DONE RORY what a rollercoaster !!!
Easter week is upon us with over 100 members around for all the upcoming events. Our leaving do is on Thursday and the Drive In on Saturday. Svetlana and Jules will be collecting for Charity with the drive in board and Easter Raffle during the week. Agi is looking for players for our home & away interclub vs La Reserva.
