Esta semana toca un bolet\u00edn m\u00e1s breve… A finales de la semana pasada, tuvimos un poco de lluvia, muy necesaria, pero no necesaria para la Copa Raider. M\u00e1s sobre esto m\u00e1s adelante.<\/p>

Competici\u00f3n Martes 8 Octubre<\/strong><\/h4>

El martes se disput\u00f3 un torneo competitivo con algunos buenos resultados en la parte superior de la clasificaci\u00f3n y un jugador muy fuerte en la parte inferior. Tras comprobar r\u00e1pidamente los resultados recientes, parece que podr\u00eda ser un r\u00e9cord. El ganador de la competici\u00f3n del martes fue Bill Fletcher con una excelente puntuaci\u00f3n de 41 puntos. Su h\u00e1ndicap se redujo a 8,8 y est\u00e1 cerca de su h\u00e1ndicap m\u00e1s bajo del \u00faltimo a\u00f1o en la Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola. Bien jugado, Bill.<\/p>

Competici\u00f3n Jueves 10 Octubre<\/strong><\/h4>

Con un total de 36 jugadores, solo siete no lograron sumar 30 puntos, por lo que la competencia fue dura. Con 36 puntos, solo se obtuvo el d\u00e9cimo puesto en la clasificaci\u00f3n. Los cinco primeros, encabezados por Frank Breuer con 39 puntos, solo estuvieron separados por un \u00fanico punto, lo que significa que el h\u00e1ndicap decidi\u00f3 los cinco puestos. La mejor puntuaci\u00f3n bruta del d\u00eda fue 74 de Josh Hunter.<\/p>

RAIDER CUP Domingo 13 Octubre INGLATERRA v RESTO DEL MUNDO<\/strong><\/h4>

Los preparativos para la Copa Anual Raider fueron algo estresantes con un pron\u00f3stico del tiempo amenanzante de mucha lluvia. Despu\u00e9s de la fuerte lluvia del s\u00e1bado por la noche, el domingo por la ma\u00f1ana nos recibieron cielos grises y brumosos y nubes que parec\u00edan resolver nuestra escasez de agua muy r\u00e1pidamente. Nos arriesgamos, jugamos y cuando terminamos, est\u00e1bamos buscando sombra bajo un hermoso cielo soleado como se muestra en las fotos. \u00a1\u00a1A\u00fan tenemos escasez de agua!! Inglaterra tiene una poblaci\u00f3n de alrededor de 60 millones contra el resto del mundo de poco menos de 9 mil millones. Este siempre iba a ser un partido dif\u00edcil. Inglaterra comenz\u00f3 muy bien en la secuencia de apertura de partidos con una ventaja significativa. Pero contra un equipo del resto del mundo con tanta elecci\u00f3n de talento, fue una lucha mantener esa ventaja. La\u00a0 abrumadora ventaja de la elecci\u00f3n de jugadores del equipo para el Resto del Mundo comenz\u00f3 a pasar factura. No puedo pensar en m\u00e1s palabras de distracci\u00f3n antes de tener que anunciar el resultado final.<\/p>

Mantenimiento del campo por Borja<\/strong><\/h4>

Esta semana continuaremos con los trabajos de zanjas y desag\u00fces en el campo para evitar los problemas que pueda ocasionar la lluvia. Tambi\u00e9n aplicaremos regulador de crecimiento en los greens. Y eliminaremos malas hierbas que hayan podido crecer en las zonas de mantillo.<\/p>
