Well Ladies, Another busy week at our beautiful club.
Many members have arrived for the “autumn” and still enjoying the warm weather. We thought it would rain over the last couple of days but the rain man had other ideas and therefore it was great for the medal and men’s invitational day.
Nicky & I have been looking at the eclectic folder and have realised that not many rounds have been completed!! Therefore, it is extended to 12 rounds by the end of February. So please get going and if you want to join, sign up in the Pro shop. Its not too late.
I had a very nice round with Bill, Tracey and Derek Rogers at Guadalmina on Monday using the reciprocal green fees. I played really well and took the money !!!
On Tuesday 7 ladies played.
1st – Denise Moodie – 36 points
2nd – Caroline Rogers – 32 points
On Wednesday we had our return match against Las Brisas.
We had a lovely day but unfortunately, they overpowered us and the final score was 15.5/8.5. Next year !
Thursday there were 10 ladies doing battle.
1st– Amanda Stanford – 38 points
2nd – Amanda Holt – 34 points
3rd – Judith Lamb – 33 points
A huge thank you to Helen Seamer and Tracey Rogers for suggesting a final, final 9 & Dine. It was a great evening with 40, yes 40 players. Afterwards, we had a putting competition to hit the bottles of wine (kindly donated by Derek & Tracey). This was so much fun and we raised 400 euros for our charities.

The Raider Cup is on next Sunday – please sign up as we need as many as possible to make it a great contest– depending on numbers David & I will decide on the theme. Last year it was England v rest of the world and the rest won!
Please take sand out with you and use it to fill in divots – also repair pitch marks on the green and ante greens but remember it is a penalty to repair on the antegreen before taking your shot from it, if it is in line with your putt.
