Hello again from a very sunny San Roque – It is truly beautiful at the moment with just light winds – although a lot chillier first thing and once the sun goes down. We are experiencing some beautiful sun rises although I am happy to miss them!! I like my bed to0 much.
On Tuesday, 14 ladies played with varying displays of brilliance….
1st – Denise Moodie – 34 points and a birdie on hole 11
2nd – Judith Lamb – 34 points
3rd – Katie Kane – 31 points
School report – signs of promise but could do better!!!

On Wednesday, we hosted the mixed interclub with La Canada when 8 men, 8 ladies from
each team battled away. Very pleased to say, we all played extremely well Monday & Friday and have a 7-1 lead for the return in January. Hopefully we will get the cup back! The meal
afterwards was excellent and many glasses of vino were enjoyed by most.

On Thursday, 9 ladies played while I visited Calanova to benefit from the Black Friday sale offerings – a bit disappointed this visit but didn’t stop me from buying some new capri pants.

2nd – Sharon Andersson – 34 points
3rd – Christine Taylor – 33 points
On Saturday, I played int the captain’s team in the Gib Fibre Med Golf tournament. We all played well but David’s performance was just outstanding along with Kays putting prowess. We had 9 birdies & 1 bogey giving a final score of net 51.8 giving us second prize. David had nearest the pin on 16 and Svetlana won the longest drive for ladies A big thank you to Josh & the team for a great day.

Sunday presented us with the keenly challenged Ladies V Men Trophy. It was a fabulous day was some very good wins and also some suprising losses. The eventual tied match means the men retain the trophy this year – must do better next year ladies!
Due to a last-minute cancellation, David donned his pink shirt and played for the ladies – thank you David – you look lovely in Pink!
