Spain is beginning to feel a bit like living in England – golf cancelled due to rain. A positive is that the reservoirs will be filling up, but even with the amount we are having it will be almost impossible to collect enough water to have a summer, without restrictions.
This week unfortunately is not looking great, the weather apps are all predicting rain. Hopefully, we will manage to play the DC Memorial on Saturday and St Patricks Day on Sunday. I know a few have also flown in for their Matchplay. Take the opportunity as and when you can to try and play them and best of luck.
The Charity Texas Scramble organised by Cornelia Busch has been moved to Friday 8th of August, the sun will out by then and many will support Centro Contigo in La Linea.
The ground staff are working very hard tidying up the course, after the huge amounts of rain that has fallen.

Debbie, Noelle & Tammy managed to play without rain and ended up having a great round. Tammy scored an impressive 40 points -.

A few of the ladies had lunch at the club. We celebrated International Women’s Day acknowledging the strength, courage, and achievements of women across the world in the usual San Roque style.
