The club continues to be relatively quiet during the mid part of February. I am off to England on Monday to visit family and for the rugby – Calcutta Cup – come on the English!!
Svetlana will be in charge for all the competitions. We have a busy weekend ahead with the Medal on Saturday and the Sotogrande Quadrangular on Sunday. Good luck to all involved. She has very kindly volunteered to do the Newsletter for the week I am away – THANK YOU !!!
We said our farewells to Danielle & Mario have been members at The San Roque Club for over 20 years. We wish them all the best back home in Italy.

We decided to do vouchers as prizes for this competition which from the comments proved popular. We also found that going out in handicap order speeded up the field. Maybe we should look at doing a medal competition this way ? Food for thought for the future Captains.
COURSE MAINTENANCE
▪ Monday – we will be applying fertilizer on the greens
▪ Tuesday and Wednesday – we will apply a pre-emergent on fairways for weeds.
▪ Thursday – we will treat greens with a wetting agent.
