Friday 1 September: Men’s ACL v Guadalmina (Away)
A good Team result away at Guadalmina with Guadalmina 9.5 San Roque 8.5; well done to
everyone who played. The South Course was in very good condition and the meal afterwards
was superb with 3 starters and a choice of Sea Bass or Beef Tataaki for main course.
Great camaraderie with these guys as usual and in the top match Bill and I were treated to a
birdie fest which had us 6 down at the turn! We will be looking for revenge in the return fixture
on Wednesday 13 September. Congratulations to Jorg on his debut for the ACL Team.

Old Course: All the Bermuda will be treated on Wednesday & Thursday whilst the ante-greens will be treated on Tuesday and Friday.
New Course: This is closed on Monday for maintenance.
Thought for the week:
The plan for decent weather in North West England seems to have worked. Spanish summer-like conditions today with the Royal Birkdale links looking splendid in the glorious sunshine. Advise consuming plenty of water!!
