August Medal 16th August
38 players competed in the August Medal in very hot SRC weather. Wide spread of scores from -5 to +17. Winner was Richard Meggitt with a superb -5. Runner up was Nathan Waite with -3.

Roll up Thursday 13th August
41 players including some juniors and guests competed in very hot and humid SRC weather. Good scoring all around with 76% of players scoring 30 or more points. Andy Stanford made a long-awaited return to the winner’s podium with 37 points and told me that the secret was taking two weeks off playing bad golf and coming back a new man! Runner up was Paul Cambridge also with 37 points. John Hunter won both the Nearest to the Pin and the 2’s prizes. A special mention to two of our juniors, Ryan Killorn & Max Meggitt who both scored a net 70 off -1 and +2 handicaps, respectively.

Roll up Tuesday 11th August
27 players competed in very hot SRC weather. Definitely a somewhat easier day on the course with 65% of the field achieving a score of 30 points or better. Bill Fletcher with an outstanding 42 points was the winner and Nathan Waite’s 40 points only getting him the runner up spot. David Tyler won the NP prize.
