Last week, our ladies captain took a well-deserved break in the UK. Nicky visited her family and watched some rugby. She sent greetings from the stadium.
A mixed week of weather – sunshine, wind, showers and over all, it has been very quite here at San Roque and there isn’t much to report. The men played ACL at Las Brisas, and over the weekend, the February Monthly Medal was scheduled. However, due to the rain, the competition has been postponed to next Saturday, 1st March (ladies first!). Additionally, the Quadrangular competition took place at Sotogrande.
On Tuesday 18th February, only five ladies participated.
The results were combined with the men’s results and could sent to the federation.
1st Janine Beck Dols 35 points
2nd Svetlana Friedl 29 points
Birdies:
Svetlana 8th hole
Janine Beck Dols 16th hole
On Thursday, only five ladies played in a friendly round.
Welcome back to Agi from her trip to South Africa, she played 37 points.

Quadrangular at Sotogrande 23 February

Our San Roque ladies looked fantastic in their new pink, white and blue outfit. Janine Beck Dols participated in her first Quadrangular match and was the ladies winner with 37 points. What an impressive debut. Unfortunately, a strong San Roque team (8 woman and 10 men) didn’t perform as well as expected and finished in fourth place. There is much more work to do in the next Quadrangular at Aloha. However, there were some new players who really enjoyed the experience and were happy to be part of it.
